Categories

Add unlimited product categories and sub categories: This feature allows adding unlimited product categories and sub categories. Set the order in which categories are displayed in the store. All products are stored in product categories. With this, you can build a category tree that will enable you to assign and sort the products by their features. Show a different category description depending on whether the category is displaying sub categories or products within the category. For example, if Electronic Goods were your main product category, sub categories would be Camera, Mobile Phones, Home Audio, Home Video, etc.
 
List products for a specific category: For each product category, you will see a display of category code and description. Each category entry has buttons to view the sub category list for that category, the product list for that category, to view the details for the category (such as category-wise discounting), and to remove the category. You can create new categories from this page as well.
 
Assign Products to Multiple Categories: This software helps to find the products as easy as possible and allows putting one product in multiple categories.
 
Hide categories from display: This software allows hiding categories within your shop. Categories can be temporarily de-activated, which keeps them in your database, but does not display them in your store.
 
Add discounting rules for category: Each product category can have its own discounting rules and display pages.

Add unlimited products: Use the Product Manager to add unlimited products. All products are stored in product categories and easily assign the same product in multiple categories. Each product can have its own pricing policies (wholesale, retail, list), discounting rules, shipping & tax features, exemptions, and product image display. Product Wizard will help you to add new products step by step. You can easily upload the images and easily locate the product for editing using powerful product search feature. You can associate a product with a brand information, logo and facilitate the customer to search the product through brand. The software allows you to do mass update of certain product features and allows to copy existing products to quickly add similar new products.
 
Import to populate the product database: Import a CSV or MS Excel file to quickly populate the product database. Update a large number of products at once by appending or updating data to the database using the import feature.
 
Assign Products to Multiple Categories: This software helps to find the products as easy as possible and allows putting one product in multiple categories.
 
Assign product attributes and options: Consumer goods can often be complex. A product may come in different sizes, shapes, or colors. You can specify UNLIMITED attributes for each product viz. size, color, type, material, and UNLIMITED options for each attribute. For e.g. you can specify small, medium, large, etc. options for size attribute. The software will create all combinations and allows defining a SKU, weight, and calculation of price for each combination.
 
Navigation by Category or by Product: You can easily browse the store by category or by product name, by double-clicking on the image, etc. to find the product information and conduct store wise or category-specific product searches.
Hide products from display: This software allows hiding products within your shop. Products can be temporarily de-activated, which keeps them in your database, but does not display them in your store. You can set a custom message “Coming Soon / Featured” to any product.
Cross Selling of Related Products: You can easily setup cross selling relationships among products and provision to turn this feature off. Once the products are created, you can easily search the database for accessory products that are related to your main product.
Product Kitting : Grouping and Selling of Multiple Products: This feature allows multiple products to group and sold together as a single product/package. Multiple components can be attached to each kit and allows very flexible configuration options. Some examples of product kitting are gift package, audio system, and products with add-ons or accessories.
Product Batching : maintain multiple products at once: You can use this feature where updates occur frequently specifically in case of stores with more number of products. This feature allows maintaining group of products to add, edit and delete.
Inventories

Manage and Track your product inventory: Add, manage and track your product inventory with UNLIMITED levels of hierarchical categorization. Inventory control can be enabled to keep track of stock on hand and reorder levels. Prevent customers from ordering more than the stock level for a product.
 
Automatic update of inventory on ordering: Inventory feature will automatically updates inventory levels when an order is processed, and reinstates previous inventory levels when the same order is cancelled or returned.
 
Activate or deactivate general inventory settings: Set specific products to ignore general inventory settings. In such cases, any specific product can be ordered even if the product is out of stock, the others can't.
 
Automatic notification to reorder products: You can receive automatic notification by e-mail when it's time to reorder products.

Currencies

Multiple Currencies: This feature allows store to specify multiple currencies and provision to mention the primary currency as well as any number of secondary currencies. Prices displayed on shopping cart page will be converted automatically into the configured currency using provided exchange rates.
 
Exchange Rates: This feature allows storing the exchange rates of different currencies to calculate the amounts for secondary currencies. The exchange rate is entered at the time of adding or modifying any currency. The price of the product is calculated based on the configured currency.
 
Customers

Customer Registration: Customers can create their own store accounts and it saves shipping addresses, payment information, etc. for future use. Customers can be assigned to groups and automatically get coupons when they log in. This feature has the provision for customer to do "express" checkouts and track the status of their orders. Account information is password protected and may be reviewed and updated by the customer at any time. Customers can delete their account at any time.
 
Make Customer Groups: This feature assigns customers to groups and allow assigning any number of pricing levels when combined with promotions, discounts or specials. The customers can get coupons when they log in.
 
User Management: This feature allows configuring and maintaining customers of their store. Customers are automatically created at purchase, but can additionally be created by the administrator through the Users interface. The administrator can update all passwords, contact information, and group information.
 
Customer Reviews and Ratings for any product: Allow your customers to rate and review your products. Many customers like to see what others have said about the products they are thinking of purchasing. Enabling customers to write reviews of your products can increase consumer confidence, which is proven to increase your conversion rate.
 
Customer Can Specify Multiple Shipment Locations: Around certain seasons, many customer want to place one order and yet ship line products to multiple locations. The multiple shipments allows this functionality to happen. A customer can create separate shopping carts for different locations. 
 
Vendors

Apply Multiple Restrictions to Discounts: This feature allows you to apply multiple restrictions by expiration date, quantity, weight, price or percentage, order amount, etc.
 
Group or Membership Discount: This feature allows you to define special membership groups and to manage the members of these groups. These members could be retail and wholesale customers. Assign different discount levels to make special pricing rules for a specific group (or groups) of customers.
 
Promotions and Specials: This feature allows you to define multiple promotions concurrently by issuing discount coupons and each is identified by different codes. Efficient and Easy Order Maintenance: This feature allows you to edit pending orders to accommodate any changes such as change in quantity, remove/add products to the order, change in product rate, re-calculation of order value, shipping address, billing address, etc. The store managers may easily approve or cancel orders that they have received. You can update order notes to keep track of details about any order and maintains the history which user has already entered, time of entry and date of entry. You can also capture the offline order information.
 
Packing Slip Creation: This feature can dynamically create branded packing slips. These packing slips display the contents of the package and any special comments or wishes to send to the customer. This packing slip can be chosen to use as a pick list when fulfilling orders.
 
Invoice Creation: This feature can dynamically create branded invoices. These invoices display the order line products with corresponding prices.
 
Order Tracking: This feature allows quick and easy access to orders by invoice number, tracking number or customer id or customer name. This tracking option is available for the customer to view their accounts from your store.
Order Status: You can easily view and update the status of pending orders (pending, processed, awaiting authorization, ready for shipping, shipped, cancelled, returned). When an order is shipped and a tracking number is provided, it automatically updates the status of order. For real-time credit card transaction processing for on-line orders, the entire process can be completely automated - from credit card authorization through settlement. Batch Order Processing: This feature saves significant amount of time and allows you to process many orders at one time. All unprocessed payments of outstanding orders can be easily marked as “shipped” in one step.
 
Order Searching: This feature allows searching for orders by date, product, customer, invoice number, shipment status, etc.
 
Order Notification: This feature automatically sends e-mail messages to store managers when an order is placed, to customers when they place an order, when store managers process their orders, cancelled their orders, when the products are shipped, etc.
Shopping Cart

Shopping Cart Retention Period: You can set the number of days that this software will keep unfinished shopping carts, which allows customers to return to the store and complete their orders.
 
“Save for Later”: This feature allows customers to add several products to their cart, and select to buy only some of the products, while saving the remaining products for a future purchase. Shoppers may also save all of the products in their cart so that they may buy them later.
 
Edit your cart on the flow: The products can be added or removed to the cart at any time prior to the customer finalizing the order. Keeps track of products in the cart (qty, attributes, & dollar amount) a customer has selected for purchase. Shopping cart and its contents are viewable at any time by the customer. Products in the cart can be updated (change quantity, color, size) at any time prior to the customer finalizing the order.
 
Remember previous customers: The shopping cart feature automatically remembers previous customers returning to reorder. Allows your shopping cart to remember previous customers username/email and passwords automatically.
 
On Screen Shopping Cart: This feature allows the customers to see what is in their cart as well as what the total purchase price without having to load up a separate screen. Customers can edit the quantity of a certain product or remove products from their cart. When coupons and customer discounts are used, these customers can see their discount in the cart, often times allowing them to buy more.
"Add-to-cart" for each product: This feature prompts the customer for the quantity of products to be ordered and the button to add the item to the cart on a product-by-product basis.

When the customer does the checkout and they reach the payment option page for selection, the selected option will appear in the payment options drop-down box. The software allows you to define both real-time and non-real time payment options, and supports a variety of payment gateways. The software can handle the following types of payments…check, credit card, debit card, money order, cash on delivery, purchase order, e-mail order, etc. The administrator will be able to create new custom payment options.
 
Real-time Payment Processing: This feature allows accepting credit cards for payment and process monetary transactions immediately. If you are going to take credit cards for payment, you will need to setup a Payment Gateway to safely transmit credit card information over the Internet and to authorize and process credit cards in a real-time and secure environment. When a customer enters their credit card information, the real-time payment gateway will automatically verify funds and depending on the transaction type that you select may or may not automatically capture the funds.
 
Non-real time payment processing: Non-real time payment options (e.g. COD - cash on delivery) lead to transactions that are processed at a later time. The order is processed immediately, but money is collected later.
 
Enhanced Credit Card Security: To help protect credit card information, only the last four digits of a credit card number are displayed to merchants if the transaction was processed through a real-time payment gateway.

Multiple Warehouses: This feature allows configuring the Warehouse Locations for your products. When you add a product into inventory, you can select the ship from location. You can specify these warehouses to specific shipping methods and shipping rates for maximum flexibility in calculating shipping cost. This is useful for companies that drop ship or ship from multiple warehouses.
 
Multiple Shipments per Order: This feature allows creating multiple shipments for any specific order if the order contains products, which are shipped from different warehouses. Shipping Labels: The UPS Shipping Tool allows you to create shipping labels directly from their Order Management Systems. This tool will also pull tracking numbers into the Order Management System directly from UPS, significantly decreasing fulfillment time.
 
Shipping Tracking: The Tracking Tool allows both you and your customers to track shipments in a fully integrated manner. The tracking information can be accessed from the Order Detail screen in the Order Management System, Order Status screen in the Online Store. Taxation

Multi-tier Taxation: This feature allows calculating tax automatically and presenting to the customers based on their address. You determine the states where tax should be collected. This feature offers sophisticated tax calculation capabilities to determine GST (Goods and Services Tax) and PST (Provincial Sales Tax) and configure taxes for specific areas (Country or State/Province or a Postal Code) and specific products (Tobacco Tax). At checkout, the customer is automatically notified of any applied taxes based on either their shipping or billing address.
State / Province based tax calculations - specify which states you charge tax in, and percentages associated with them.

Store Administration

Getting Started Wizard: Use the wizard to guide you through the entire process; it is not necessary to know all the information, as you can easily return to and from screens.
 
Remote Administration: You can make instant changes (add products, update prices...) to the store anytime from any computer, if given the proper account authentication.
Increase your online store hits: You can enter all the key words and phrases that you feel describe your store and the products that it sells. The search engines index these words to use for searching. The words that you enter may be used by Internet search engines and could increase your chances of appearing in their search results.
 
Store Description: You can enter the description to describe your store and the products, store policies, store address, store contact information. This also provides the feature of configuring multiple warehouse locations with detailed information.
Store Settings: You can specify general settings for your store from Setup Page. This includes localization, inventory, date format, time format, primary currency, units for weight, and email settings.
 
Keyword and Advanced Searches: This software provides powerful search facility by both a keyword and advanced search. The keyword search will query every element of a product looking for a specific word and return all relevant matches. The advanced search allows the customer to get more specific and search for products based on multiple criteria such as category, sub category, product name, manufacturer, and price range.
Multiple Administrators: You can add users for accessing the browser based Administration Control Panel to help you to administer your online store. You require a login and password to access the Control Panel and it limits access to only specific areas of the Control Panel. You can easily view/edit existing users of Control Panel. Administrator logins can be added and removed through the administration panel.
 
Security: This feature allows administrator to setup password-protect for different sections of your online store, assigning varying access rights to different employees thus allowing just specified employees to see certain data and modify it. This allows you to maximize efficiency while keeping your critical business data secure.
Quick Editing Screen: If you want to change certain elements of your store product line (such as price) quickly, this software provides a quick edit view that looks and functions much like a spreadsheet. 
 
Manage Regions: You can add, edit, or delete countries and their states / provinces. You can also customize the address format for each country.

Bulk Mail Wizard: This feature is useful for informing your store customers about various events, news, promotions, specials, newsletter, notices, change any specific messages, etc. It allows you also to subscribe your members and sends bulk e-mails to thousands of people, all of your online store customers or just a specific segment of them based upon their purchase history. All you need is to fill in the form, set the date for an e-mail to be sent and click the button "send"; a very useful feature for category-specific messages. If you choose to send an e-mail, the format can be a plain text message or a rich HTML e-mail. Customers can automatically unsubscribe from the mailing list for those customers no longer wish to be contacted. The mail wizard makes it easy to run promotions, allowing you to send e-mails with links that go directly to specific products in the online store or even a link to the store that automatically activates a coupon.
 
Automated E-Mails: This feature allows you to setup automated e-mails for the following tasks:
Automated e-mail response is sent to customer on new registration.
The store administrator / manager will receive an e-mail whenever a new customer registers with the store.
Automated order confirmation is sent to the customer via e-mail immediately after an order is placed. This helps to reassure the customer that their order is being processed.

Summary Reports: The Built-in summary reports are included as part of e-commerce solution and allows you to generate various reports like sales reports, product report, shipping report, taxes report, order report, and more.
Sales Report: This report shows all information for any date range pertaining to a specific product and the information includes total sales, taxes, shipping charges, total number of orders placed, number of orders shipped, number of customers, and average order value. 
Product Report: This report displays the following product information for any specific time frame: product status, price, quantity sold, inventory, cost of goods sold. It allows product/store managers to get a quick snap shot of their product line. 
Shipping Report: This report compiles the list of different shipping methods that have been used for all shipped orders for any specific time frame. The report includes the shipping type, carrier name, number of orders, and the total amount of shipping charge. 
Taxes Report: This report shows various information for any specific date range and the information include each type of tax used, the number of orders using that tax, and the total amount of tax collected.

Vendor Report: This report shows product sales grouped by vendor. This information can be particularly useful when forecasting and reordering from vendors.

Popular Products: This report will generate a list of products that are your top (or bottom) sellers with regards to the quantity sold and/or the revenue made. This information can particularly be useful when initiating any targeted marketing campaigns.
Biggest Customers: This report will generate a list of customers who are your top (or bottom) customers with regards to the number of orders placed and / or the order amount. 
Sales History: This report will display a line graph showing each month sales in a particular year. 
Affiliate Commission Report: This report shows order totals and commissions, grouped by affiliate. Who are the best affiliates? What are the best marketing channels?
 
Activity Reports: The Built-in web activity log is useful for you to keep track of user hits and browser statistics. Reports can be generated and downloaded by you for use with log analysis software.
